Hello! I hope I am posting this in the right way! This is my first time and I’m not quite sure how to use this site!
I just wanted to say that I, too, encountered Bryan James through craiglist back in October 2007. He claimed to fall in love with me, etc., yet we never met and we never exchanged photos! He gave a similar story to me that he gave your other posters.
I made the mistake of giving him my number and he called me quite a number of times, becoming jealous when he thought I might have a man over! I finally got rid of him after several months of these phone calls.
The funny part of this story is that I just got a call from him tonight March 10, 2009) after more about 18 months’ absence! He pretended to be a secret admirer who was in love with me because I’m the most wonderful woman in the world, etc., but I recognized his voice! Who could forget his voice?!!!
Anyway I am just posting this to add my voice to the others who have encountered Bryan. I think he has serious mental and emotional problems and he is abusive. I would warn others to please keep away from him … don’t under any circumstances meet him or give out your phone number to him, etc.
