I really do try to find more of the “positive” in my day, so I’m going to make an effort to post every time I feel really strong connections to the Universe when being happy.

The amount of “happy” feelings has been decreasing in the last year with the moves, & the increased pollution in this area my body can’t handle, & my ever increasing health issues.

I learned a while ago then when one is sick, it’s a lot harder to be happy, & one is a lot more bitchy. That’s what I’ve noticed about myself anyway.

Yesterday for no apparent reason I was filled with joy & I loved my connection to the Universe as I always do. The energy I feel is always stunningly wonderful. :)

Today is a historic day for the entire world, & even though I don’t have American citizenship, & I’m not black, nor would I have voted for Obama had I been able to vote there (I’m for Ralph Nader), I’m looking for the positive in his election on many levels.

I hope he creates the change he says he will. Heck, he can’t do any worse than Bush & what happens to the States directly affects me & my business, not to mention that almost all of my clients are in the States, all my vendors are except for one, & almost my entire team is in the States, not to mention me having lived there from age 3 until the age of 14.

One thing I do admire about Americans despite their naive arrogance at times because they think they are the ONLY country that exists on this planet LOL (I think they are getting better though) , is the way that country just bands together. I’m trying to think of one other country that does that.

I’ve become more pro American & anti Canadian over the last 1 1/2 years, & the more I learn about the States & compare it to Canada, the more I wish I was living in the States.

Not that Canada doesn’t have the odd positive point here or there, & Canada may be very right wing, religious, judgmental & controlling just like the States, but those traits just aren’t as apparent as they are in the US.

That & all the guns are the 2 main drawbacks to the States, but there are soooo many benefits to being an American citizen, including the fact that they openly always talk about how the “tax payer” is paying for this, or “the people” will have to pay for that. You NEVER hear (mind you I don’t watch a lot of Canadian news, so I could be wrong) the Canadian media talk about Canadian citizens in this nurturing way.

It’s clear that as divided as Americans are when it comes to their religion & politics, & even based on which state they live in (still can’t believe they live in the past soooo much), their unity stems from being American & I really do admire that.

So I’m being really positive here about the next President of the United States… let Obama make the change everyone so positively deserves.

Thank you

Michelle
