Never spoke to this guy before & out of the blue he writes:

I guess he considers confidence to be vain. Actually I’ll rephrase, I am not taunting my intelligence, I’m stating a fact since so many people are average or below average in intelligence & I don’t really mesh with those types. No judgment, just a fact.

But anyway I regress. This blog post is about this nasty individual who has no respect for other people & their opinions or wants. Clearly he doesn’t measure up to what I’m seeking in a person & therefor he has to bash me for it. That’s a sign of immaturity. And the fact that he can’t see how deep I am because of what I wrote tells me he isn’t very intelligent, but I think that’s what triggered his behavior.

Starts harassing me after seeing my ad looking for someone to go to a movie with me just as a friend.

He asked if I wanted to see a pic of him & I told him no. I don’t care much what a person looks like as a friend because I don’t judge people by their looks if they are just friends.

Unfortunately too many people are just soooo shallow & they don’t know what a friend means. Men think a friend means eventually convincing the woman to sleep with him.

After I told him no thank you, he e-mailed me 3 times harassing me & was of course very rude.

Is the reason you dont have an onlne pic is because you know that if you put one up, you know youll never get a date to that movie?  Thats the main reason why most women wont do that.”

It’s shocking how emotionally disturbed so many of these little boys online are. They are little boys in adult bodies & they go around online harassing females because they won’t put out.

While he seemed  nice & sincere, the fact that he didn’t read my simple profile & then gave me my keywords (this is how I screen people online on dating sites), told me it would never work.

Believe it or not, 90% of all men (& even some women) online can’t read English & are unable to follow simple instructions, OR they are too busy gawking at pictures because they don’t care about the person, they ONLY care about what they look like.

Sure look at the pic, but then the next step (logical to me) is to read the profile to see if there’s compatibility.

They skip that step & just write to the person & then expect that the person (Me) is going to take them seriously.

Anyway, this is what I wrote to Curt hoping it would end the conversation & I would answer his questions at the same time, but of course it did not. Curt had to make excuses. This is typical of people who are immature & are unable to take responsibility for their actions.

He wrote back proclaiming he had had a bad day. Don’t we all he asked me.

Clearly he wanted me to feel sorry for him, but again he didn’t give me what I asked for which meant to me that he didn’t even care about what I was talking about. I have issues with people who are lazy & don’t even bother to find out what a person is referring to. That not only shows me laziness, but also no curiosity (the spark of life), it shows me that the person doesn’t care about making things right, or they aren’t very intelligent. That what is being said slides right by them & they are clueless.

I wrote back an e-mail saying:

“Curt you still didn’t give me what I asked for so it sounds like you have no clue what I’m even talking about. Sure you can have a bad day, but 2 bad days in a row? That just doesn’t happen & if you aren’t feeling well, IMO, you shouldn’t be responding to women online b/c first impressions mean a lot.

I’m sorry, but I just can’t even start a friendship with someone who can’t read a simple profile & give the person what they asked for. I am an avid reader & I’ve been in relationships with men who don’t read books & it’s been terrible. Not only that, but I’m also an entrepreneur, so I experience a lot of triggers when people can’t follow simple instructions. I need above average people in my life. No offense, I just need like minded compatible people around me.

Was I straight to the point & on the negative side? Yes I was & I make no apologies for that. My profile states I’m very intelligent & if the profile sounds like Greek to them, than that is a sign they shouldn’t respond.

I’m not here to teach people how to read English & understand the English language. Maybe Curt can read, but just doesn’t understand what he’s reading. Maybe he can only read at a 4th or 6th grade level. I don’t know & I don’t care. What I want is highly intelligent people who care about the other person they are responding to – even if they don’t know them yet.

Once I got this e-mail below from Curt, I felt the need to post his responses so women (or men) can see how Curt handles not only conflict, but is unable to admit when he’s wrong. People who are serious about finding the right mate need to know how their other half handles conflict because that’s what makes or breaks a relationship.

So Curt expects me to read his mind when I don’t even know him yet. Again, another excuse for poor communication & for his mistakes.

Then he calls my profile a fictional novel. I guess what women say in their profile is fiction to Curt.

Then he says I think too high of myself. I guess the expectation of reading when all you can do online is read (unless it’s a video) means I think too highly of myself

That tells me that Curt’s standards are average or below average & he needs that type of woman & please understand that I don’t have a problem with people who are average or below average. They make up 75% of the earth’s population. What I have a problem with is those people contacting me & expecting me to welcome then with open arms. I’m sure Curt could have found some other women to contact, but I think he was fixated on the Polyamory part thinking he was going to get 3somes or something from me.

Then he tries to tell me he reads more than I & writes poetry. Gawd, if this is what a bookworm is like… no thanks. Probably lies.

Then he tells me he’s the best thing that could have ever happened to me. No Curt we don’t think highly of ourselves do we.

Actually he doesn’t. Anyone who would make that type of comment is actually very insecure. While I tell people I’m above average in intelligence & being intuitive because I only want those types contacting me, I don’t do it to show off. In fact I can never show off. It feels too uncomfortable for me to show off.

I would also NEVER tell someone I could have been the best thing that ever happened to them, especially if they don’t even know me & vice versa. That’s just immature talk & Curt is puffing out his chest trying to prove he’s something he’s not.

So in the end this is why I have my screening process, to weed out people like Curt because it’s also interesting to see how people who are called on their shit react back. This speaks volumes about who they are as a person.

Waited for me outside a Blockbuster one sunny day trying to pick me up.

I agreed to take his number & call him, so I did. I wanted to see how we got along. In the middle of the conversation, he cut me off saying he had to go to the store & I should call him back. After trying him a few times & even leaving my number, it became apparent to me he had been lying & was, in my opinion, such an insecure person that he couldn’t just say he wasn’t interested.

Frank responded to my ad looking around for something to do on New Year’s Eve.

First he wanted to IM with me & I told him no, I don’t use the Internet to replace real conversation. I speak on the phone & then meet people if all goes well.

He gave me his number, but something told me he wasn’t someone I wanted in my life, because he had briefly mentioned wanting a picture in one of his e-mails, & while seeing what a person looks like is important, I don’t deal with shallow superficial humans.

I sent him my file I sometimes send to people telling them some of my simple expectations…

Honesty, someone who will tell you if they are no longer interested instead of running away, people who are secure with themselves, etc.

He wrote me back saying that’s fine, but he wants a picture first.

This told me all I needed to know about Frank, so I told him that while I have no problem sending out a pic, since this is all he seems to care about, we aren’t compatible & I wished him all the best.

This is the lovely response I got back from him…

“Thats fine! just as I figured you’re the type that looks for fault rather than trying to get to know someone with that huge requirement list of yours!!!   LMAO!!!

I’m very happy that I trusted my intuition & took the extra time to screen this guy. He clearly can’t handle being rejected, even when he shows his true colours, & instead of just accepting it, he has to bash me & put them down. I am ONLY seeking people who have learned how to grow up, don’t act like little children, & have above average relationships skills. That’s both as a friend or a partner.

So unfortunately another nasty person from OkCupid has to write to me just to put me down. Another little immature bully who hasn’t grown up yet even though this guy is 54 years old.

If my profile is too long for your eyes/brain, then just move on to someone else who speaks very little, or better yet, continue to read your Penthouse, I’m sure the stories in there are “easy reading”

I’m neither arrogant nor negative (I’m always trying to train myself to be more positive), but I guess to this guy who is 41 years old, anyone who knows what they want is arrogant & negative.

Not only that, this is another prime example that the psychology profession is once again drawing in all the emotionally unstable ones into their profession. Then these people peddle their services telling others they can help them when they themselves haven’t dealt with the majority of issues. I mean anyone who is mostly secure with themselves would have just skipped over my profile if they didn’t like it & moved on, but Mister over here didn’t & I know he didn’t read it all, because he’s NOT clean shaven.

So I happened across this guy’s ad on Craig’s List while searching for something else. I should have known that this would be an issue, a lot of the people who go on Craig’s List are nutcases, but he seemed nice saying he wanted to move from the States to Canada & I was curious why, so I e-mailed him.

Immediately he started speaking French to me & I told him I didn’t understand French. I thought that would be the end of it, but it wasn’t.

I thought he was a nice guy at first, but after the 3rd e-mail when I tried to call him, he said he won’t pick up the phone if it’s a blocked number.

I told him very nicely that if this is his requirement, I can’t help him, I don’t give out my number right away until after the first call. I wished him all the best.

This has been my policy for almost 10 years & it’s served me well. If he can’t respect that, then that’s fine, we don’t need to talk, it’s no big deal to me, I don’t deal with control freaks & thank god most men “get it” & only a few are extremely insecure & proceed to get livid because I refuse to give out my number before speaking to the person on the phone.

As for being afraid LOL, nothing could be further from the truth. I have a way of doing things & I stick to what works for me. HE’S the one who is afraid to pick up calls from a private caller. I’m not, I pick them up all the time.

I also told him for the 2nd or 3rd time that I DON’T speak French. I don’t like it when people don’t listen & he kept putting in a sentence or two in the e-mails in French. Who cares what his heritage is? I never said anything about heritage, I just wanted him to STOP speaking to me in a language I didn’t understand, but I guess that’s not a logical request in his mind.

This is what he wrote me back & because of it’s semi violent very angry nature, I felt the need to warn others. I’ve asked him to stop e-mailing me, & I hope he will because I don’t tolerate angry immature people.

If you don’t want to talk to me, then I certainly don’t want to talk to you! And I already know you don’t speak French. I’m proud of my heritage. I’ll say whatever I want to in French. And if that bothers someone…too bad!  People who are too scared to reveal who they are on the phone shouldn’t be on the phone at all. And so, you may now hide… Hide from people you don’t even know. The one thing I have learned from this online crap is that all you people from Toronto are just downright strange! Thank God I’m going to Montreal. Amusez-vous bien. Bon Debarras!”

Jake seemed like a sweet guy at first.

He’s 50 years old & my ad on Mate1 clearly states I’m only seeking friends to start off with.

Anyway, we went back & forth around 3-5 times via e-mail when all of a sudden he started calling me arrogant, & how he doesn’t feel we can be friends.

Fine, no problem, I was shocked, but something I said must have triggered him, & if he couldn’t handle my openness, he’s right, it would never have worked.

Then he writes back a few hours or the next day to apologize.

He sounds very distraught over his ex wife, daughter, & just his life in general.

I didn’t have time to write him back, but finally a few days later I gave his e-mail my time because I don’t leave people hanging, that’s just rude & disrespectful, & I respect everyone unless they give me a reason not to.

I told him how I felt & that at this stage in his life because he doesn’t know himself well, I don’t feel it would be a good idea to even be friends. Once he started to get a handle on who he is, he could try back again.

He claimed he was the most spiritual person I would have ever met, but I knew he wasn’t because he had never used the words I use, & just the fact that he admitted he doesn’t know himself tells me he hasn’t been studying spirituality for years like I have.

Anyway, I also wanted to tell him that I hadn’t been reading his poetry (he kept sending me files), b/c I didn’t want him to think I was ignoring what he wrote me, & I didn’t want him to waste his time writing me poetry if I was never going to read it.

After years of dating online, I learned pretty quickly that most of the guys who write poetry aren’t very good.

Maybe some women like them, maybe some women just appreciate the fact that the guy tries, I’m not that type of woman. For me I like only one type of poetry, & being a writer, I prefer to read an e-mail & have someone express themselves in proper English, then to try & guess what they are getting at with poor poetry.

Maybe he was good, I have no idea, but I wasn’t going to go look because his e-mails were long & just combing through them took a lot of time.

Anyway, I wished him all the best & I thought our conversations were over.

WELL, I was wrong.

The next thing I know, he’s e-mailing me back again accusing me of being arrogant totally getting what I said wrong.

He starts spewing about all the great male poets in the world giving me examples like Shakespeare, King David, Gandhi etc.

So he thinks he’s that good.

Anyway, when it became apparent that he is quite disturbed, didn’t understand a thing I said, proceeded to take everything I said personally, I just stopped writing him.

Beware of “nice” guys, they tend to turn on you eventually, because they are just putting on a mask so you will like them.
